Quick blurb here because I don't have a .plan file yet. For those of you who don't yet fully appreciate the monsterour joys of Deathmatch, you should try playing it for at least just a bit on a LAN. You'd be hooked forever. I didn't like DM at all just a few months ago, but now I'm making a whole new DMing experience. Hehe, what that is I can't say yet. However, Speed Demons should love it. Just thought I'd jingle a few of your chains. ;)
OK, as the crowd says, "Get on with it!" I present to you yet another Custents map... which I actually recieved several months ago, hehe. Hey it saw while I wasn't updating, so lay off and go the the Custents Inside page to see what new wonders await you... inside. Hehe, sorry that was a pun that couldn't be helped. :)

BTW, if you haven't gotten the MOD plug-in to hear my succulently selected musical score... Then do it! This stuff rocks... Totally dude! Damn, who let that surfer guy in here...
Say now, where'd that spell checker button come from? Don't remember having one of those in my web page editor before... hm...
Oh, just remembered one last thing, hehe. We (meaning 2015, not Telefragged) are trying to get finger files, but our email server "doesn't do fingers cause it's a potentially great security risk"... Oh no, that means that almost %90 of the Internet is at great risk. 8-o ... bloody wankers. Fear not, we'll get 'em, even if we've gotta make fake ones... gee now who'd do that?

OK, for a total departure from how I've been running things here for the past few months, I've got some actual content for you this time. *gasp* It's a new map in the Custents Inside by some cool ass nut ball named Michael Casaday. Why is he cool ass you say? SiNple, because he had the smarts to make a Quake 1 map using Custents 6. ;)

This may sound biased since I'm working on the add-on pack for it, but Sin's just so frikin awesome! They've done stuff to the Quake2 engine that just make me wanna drool. And although I haven't seen it yet, the guys tell me that Ritual is making god awfully good use of it all too. They've described a few of the ABO's (you should know what those are by now) that are going to be in Sin, as well as a few that they're planning for the add-on. Let's just say that if you try to keep track of everything at al times, you'll get majorly contused.
OK, that's enough drooling over what I'll get to play, I mean work, with. hehe. BTW, I will still be keeping up this page, cause it's mine... plus I don't think they'll let me get my hands on the "official" web sites html. Why, what ever could I do to it? >) hehehe
I'll have more for you guys when I get it straightened out in my head just what I can and can't talk about. laters.

So, to ask formally, would those of you who know how please make up entity support files for the editor(s) that you use other than Worldcraft? Full credit and all that Jazz will be given to the authors. All such support files that I receive (please have them in neat little zips) will be posted ASAP on the downloads page and a small update will be posted here to let everyone know that it's available.
I hope this will take care of this multi-lingual, I mean editor, problem sufficiently, cause it's the best I can do. There is always another option for you guys... use Worldcraft! :)

Anyway, go to the Custents page for word up on what's new (holms?). Map long, and prosper. :)
One last thing I thought I should mention. Due to the new twist in my RL (and L for that matter), no further work will be done at all on Custents, that includes any bug fixes that I may have inadvertently missed. Sorry, but I'll have neither the means nor the time to do so. I will try to keep tabs on the Custents Help Board however, to answer any questions that I can as I have in the past.
Peace, love, and rock&roll to all'a ya! I'm off to go where no wart has never gone before...

Anyway, now that I've got my computer back, on to the main event. I didn't lose as much time as I thought I was going to, so unless something major comes up, it looks like I'll be releasing Custents by Monday at the latest. That cool or what? :) Welp, back to adding in those pretty little final touches. laters

Anyway, just letting you guys know that Custents 6.0 if finished, sorta. It's finished in the completed sence, but not really. It's still gotta go through beta testing, which is going to take just one more week. I've even got a nice and spiffy installer program on it this time. :) Of course, it'll still also be available in the regular un-scented version, zipped.
If you think you're up to the challange of beta testing Custents 6.0, email me: gnrlwart@telefragged.com, but only if you're gunna be able to do it within this next week. I've gotta have some kind of a deadline for this thing sometime you know. :)
OK then, till next week, hang loose.

OK let's see... what do I have new that you guys might be interested in? Oh yea, the Custents Inside list is longer (go check out the new Mars, and Nike), and I've got some Apoc stuff to tell ya.
First off, yes, we pulled a Microsoft and missed our target release year. :P However, we're not letting it die, I love that puppy too much to let it do that, and so does Steve Fukuda. So, it's still in incubation and being worked on. Maybe we'll have to change its name to Apoc98 or something... let's just hope we don't see any Win99's flying around. :o
Oh yea, and there's one other new thing that's going on with Apocalypse. I don't think Steve has mentioned this yet, but it's going to be a Quake 2 add-on, and yes, it's still going to be freeware. Remember though, if you ever really wanna send us money anyway, go right ahead. ;)
Even though I am going to be working for 2015 (woho!) I'll still be able to keep working on Apocalypse. "But General," you might say, "if you've finally gotten off your lazy ass and gotten a job, how are you going to have any time to work on Apocalypse. You're already supposedly busy up the wazoo." To that I say, ha! Because I'm not really starting till about May, which means plenty of time to port Apocalypse over to Quake 2. Granted, I won't be able to help any more after that, but if you try to tell me that porting a Quake mod over to Quake 2 is a simple matter for someone who hasn't been able to work with the Quake2 source yet (Don't got a compiler yet) then just bite me.
OK, I've done my first decently long update in a long while, so I guess I can stop rambling now, hehe. Later all, and remember to follow the motto of The Trench, "Walk the fine line between sanity and reality."
Yakity Shmakity from yesteryear... I dunno what it
means, I just heard it in some medieval movie. :P
